Thia'a Rahman| Founder & Principal Strategist, SIS
Thi'aa (thee-uh) is a strategist, connector, and creative thinker who believes meaningful progress happens when the right people, ideas, and opportunities come together.
With more than a decade of experience across organizing, advocacy, coalition building, and organizational strategy, she's built her career helping people navigate complex challenges, develop strategies, and turn ambitious ideas into meaningful action. From grassroots organizing and political campaigns to federal advocacy and multistate initiatives, her work has always centered on one question:
How do we get from where we are to where we want to be?
Thia'a sees possibilities, makes connections, asks the questions that need to be asked, and understands that sometimes the most strategic decision is knowing what not to pursue just yet. She founded SIS on the belief that people don't always need someone to take over. Sometimes they need someone to think alongside them, challenge their perspective, bring clarity to the moving pieces, and help them stay connected to what they're trying to accomplish.
The name SIS is intentional. It's meant to feel familiar, like someone you trust enough to bring your ideas, challenges, and big dreams to. Someone who will be honest with you, thoughtful about your vision, and genuinely invested in seeing you succeed. For Thia'a, collaboration isn't just part of the process. It's the foundation of every relationship. She brings her strategic expertise to the table while keeping the client's vision, goals, and perspective at the center of the work. Because the best strategies aren't simply developed for people. They're built with them.
Her goal is simple: Every client should leave SIS better positioned than when they arrived. With greater clarity, stronger direction, and the confidence to keep building long after the partnership ends.
